I don’t know what it is about Mormons and Trump. I have one colleague who is a Mormon and seems to be generally conservative, but he has always been anti-Trump.
“Republicans for Biden” is like “Black Lives Matter”. Both just nice slogans to hide the real agenda.
The republicans for Biden are simply traitors wanting Biden to win so they can get back to grifting like Biden promised them.

I think the correct description of what Paul Ryan did is “subverted”.
“Wasted” implies that the No Borders, US Chamber of Commerce stooge was inept rather than working against Trump’s agenda.
Flake is representative of a lot of the Mormon faction of the GOPe.
Lee, Love, Romney, Flake. None of them supported Trump.
Another member of the tribe, Trump challenger Evan “Egg McMuffin” McMullin, received something like 21% of Utah’s general election vote for President.

Mormonism is a works righteousness religion and it feaures a prissy moralism that judges virtue with that yardstick.
So a slick, well-mannered weasel like Mitt Romney is regarded as righteous and a brusque plain spoken Queens character like Trump is of the devil. And of course Bishop Romney of the magic underwear is also in line to be a God of his own planet and Trump the gentile isn’t, so there’s also that.
For some reason, I always picture Mitt Romney dressed in white pajamas, hopping around in a field with a butterfly net.
Bingo. The Jackass served eighteen years in Congress and it took Donald J.Trump for him to finally figure out he was in the wrong political party. AZ voters sure are mixed up, but Andy Biggs is a refreshing change.

They are not supporting Biden, they are supporting Kamala Harris, one of the most liberal members of Congress.

Why are so many Mormons taking up space in Washington? I really wish I could answer that one. So I’ll try.
In the case of Romney, he managed to weasel his way into the election in UT after the Republican machine changed the rules and allowed a signature gathering method to get your name on the ballot. Otherwise he was doomed as a candidate and rightly so. The other one of note was the majority leader in the Senate from NV who got his eye knocked out supposedly from an accident on an exercise machine, who WAS a democrat. You may be referring to Jackass Jeff from AZ who was bounced out of the Senate by his constituents for being a Jackass instead of a Republican. AZ redeemed itself somewhat with the election of Andy Biggs to the House of Representatives who is a real Republican in every way and then some.
Sorry for your loss. We lost one at five months which might be easier to deal with than when they have been with you for years.
If you want to be labelled what you could be based on that statement alone I’d be happy to comply. Wouldn’t it be better not to make such a lying declaration when you know it is not true? It isn’t called The Church of Jesus Christ for nothing. Rule of law is fundamental and open borders is NOT rule of law.
