Are you absolutely the “shooting victim” was really truly a “victim” with a father? Isn’t it only a victim if totally innocent beyond any shadow of a doubt? It wasn’t an accident, was it? Just checking because use of “victim” twice in the same brief sentence just read kinda strange to me...
I use victim in the sense of being the recipient of seven gunshots and we don’t know yet what crime, if any, he had committed other than resisting arrest.
