Michigan has 18.5% fraud rate in absentee ballots. That's a BS headline. The Detroit News article this is based on didn't identify any fraud.
You're counting ballots received after election date as fraudulent.

Based on what the Michigan Secretary of State has published there were 2,520,847 voters who participated in the primary. I don't know how many of them voted absentee. But a rough ratio of the absentee ballots that were identified as being cast by someone who was deceased at the date of the election is 846/2,520,847 which is 0.033%, or about 1 in 3000 votes.
Election fraud is unacceptable, even in small numbers since elections can be decided by a single vote, but the amount of ballots identified in this case is not nearly as significant as your headline suggested. Your headline is wrong by a factor of about 560.
Saying something that is wrong by a factor of more than 500 is not helpful.

Listen carefully to how the media conflates the mail ballot to the absentee voting ballot. Shades of:
Listen carefully to how the media conflates chloroquine, which has cardiac side effects, with hydroxychloroquine, which was developed to NOT have those side effects.
Same root cause.

Corrupt Demonicrats cannot answer to the fact that opportunity is always the culprit, being the weak link. It will ALWAYS be exploited. Why wouldnt it be? If some totalitarian government mandated all locks be removed from all doors on homes and businesses, what do they think will happen?

...a rough ratio of the absentee ballots that were identified as being cast by someone who was deceased at the date of the election is 846/2,520,847 which is 0.033%, or about 1 in 3000 votes. And even those aren't necessarily fraud. They're assumed to be people who died after mailing in their ballots and in fact represent a smaller percentage than in previous elections.

Even early voting is rife with fraud. One thing it does is that levels of participation are easily gauged, and exit polls paint the rest of the picture. It is no longer a double-blind exercise in just counting votes. It becomes a matter of FINDING votes, if you reckon that you are behind.

To each his own. Early voting can be controlled with the proper
planning, resources and the internet.

Good.
Nully's modest proposal to end voter fraud:
- Paper ballots (zeugma adds) with human readable marks. They may be computer generated, and/or computer counted, but there must be an audit trail of each vote. H/T zeugma
- Purple fingers (needs something to prevent an absentee voter/early voter from re-voting at the poll, maybe blockchain, also maybe a mugshot showing the voter an the photo ID taken at sign in?) H/T for-q-clinton
- Mandatory free on demand BIOMETRIC (iris scan, nobody ever left their irises at a crime scene!) photo voter ID card, with a database that instantly flags for arrest anyone seeking multiple IDs. Change of name or address? Simply have your old card voided when you apply for the new one.
- No precinct reports their totals until ALL precincts report they have totals. This prevents the last-to-report precinct captains from knowing how much to fudge a report to give a win to their preferred candidate while maintaining some slight semblance of credibility.
- Repeal Motor Voter.
- End same-day registration where it exists, and allow ample time between registration and election for vetting of credentials of registrants.
- Instantly deport any non-citizen who registers to vote. Permanently ban from re-entry any non-citizen who actually votes.
- Put a little ⩍ next to the names of those registered voters with death certificates, and detain and put a 72 hour psychiatric hold on anyone claiming to be a dead person...
- With the exception of absentee ballots, end early voting. Every voter deserves and has a responsibility to know the latest information before they cast their ballots. H/T WildHighlander57
- Absentee ballots must be vetted and counted 10 days before the polling date, with the results secured until the date of the vote. H/T octex
- All voter rolls are automatically and completely purged ten days after the Presidential Inauguration. Reregistering to vote every four years is not an imposition. H/T The Chid
Mexico has voter ID cards required to vote, and when you vote, they punch a hole in your card to prevent multiple votes in the same election.
I don't know if you get a 10% discount after you've accumulated enough punched holes
Of course, all this would only apply to Federal elections, for federal offices, as that is the legitimate concern of the federal government.
Let the states who have local authority use whatever system they wish to force the elections of their favorite sons and daughters to alderman, mayor or goobernor. They can do it the cheap way, by just following the federal rules for all voting, or they can have separate ballots for local and federal. Their call. It's a free country, ain't it?

Voter fraud should be a mandatory 5 year sentence, no early release

If either was true why would an absentee ballot have been issued? Gosh, that's a real puzzle.

True. Unfortunately there are always some people who vote absentee due to illness or age who die before the election date. The number isn't usually large, but it might be higher this year for some primaries due to the COVID-19 deaths among the elderly.
Fraud happens, and we all need to be working to prevent it, but really the key to success is getting the voters out to vote for President Trump. And, while we are at it, get involved as poll workers and poll watchers to prevent or at least detect fraudulent activities.

Early voting can be controlled with the proper planning, resources and the internet. Early voting makes it much harder for the public to observe the entire process and ensure it is done correctly. New Hampshire requires that elections be conducted in one public session with multiple observers from each party participating in the process. That greatly reduces the chances of any election fraud.

If either was true why would an absentee ballot have been issued? Gosh, that's a real puzzle. It's not really a puzzle, and if you read the Michigan election laws I am sure you could figure it out. In many states you can request that an absentee ballot be sent to you long before the election occurs. In Michigan the absentee voter application form has, as checkbox #2 the request "I want to vote absentee in all future elections. Automatically send me an application for every election."
So the answer to puzzle is that some people who checked off that box moved, but got their ballot forwarded by USPS and still voted. In some cases that may be illegal depending on where they moved to, but in other cases it is a minor error by the voter that could have been done innocently.
For the ballots of deceased voters, some could be people who died after they filled in and sent their ballot, and some could be people who fraudulently voted on a deceased person's ballot.
The state of Michigan should investigate the ballots which appear suspicious, since fraud might be involved. But some portion of them will probably turn out to just be sad cases of a person dying before election day, or minor errors of a voter who failed to update their address to the election officials. The others of course deserve careful investigation, arrest if possible, and prosecution.

Wow...keeping this alive and going. Kudos!
