The World Health Organization said Friday that a vaccine will be a “vital tool” in the global fight against the coronavirus, but it won’t end the Covid-19 pandemic on its own and there’s no guarantee scientists will find one.
World leaders and the public must learn to manage the virus and make permanent adjustments to their daily lives to bring the virus down to low levels, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said during a news conference from the agency’s Geneva headquarters. “At the same time, we will not, we cannot go back to the way things were.”
Throughout history, outbreaks and pandemics have changed economies and societies, he said.
“In particular, the Covid-19 pandemic has given new impetus to the need to accelerate efforts to respond to climate change,” he said. “The Covid-19 pandemic has given us a glimpse of our world as it could be: cleaner skies and rivers.”

Local universities have suspended part of the 1st Amendment (right to assemble). Students support their loss of rights, even if they violate the rules.

Funny how they even TOLD US what they were doing and what their ultimate goal was (global control of vaccines/treatments, etc.), in their film released late last year.

COVID-19 (and all the shutdowns and masks and social distancing) ends with the vaccine. And the vaccine is almost here. In fact, we’ll probably have 3-5 by the end of the year. A buffet to choose from.
Wait until they cull 2/3 of the world’s population with this coming vaccine. These same people (Gates, Fauci, etc.) believe the world is 90% overpopulated...and make no mistake, they are running things. :-(
The “powers that be” are saying we are never going back and have pretty much kept us under their tight grip since March 1. Yet You say we are going back to normal. Do you know something the rest of us do not know?
It may not be quite that soon. They’ll want to keep us confined until the election results are in. With mail voting and ballot harvesting it could drag out interminably. Do they know yet who won the Iowa Caucuses in January? I heard they’re still counting.
NWO does not want normalcy. They want tight-fisted draconian new normal...and they are getting it!
I know the spirit of the American people, and while many were tolerant of drastic measures when little was known about this pandemic and there was pervasive fear of mass casualties, the reality has since been progressively setting in and that tolerance has waned significantly.
Add a vaccine to the mix and what remains of that fear evaporates along with any remaining tolerance for the mitigation measures put in place. Already, even in places like California and New Jersey, you see many examples of people completely disregarding what they’ve been told to do. When those fights go to the courts, the people have typically won over the government. Time is not on the government’s side and whatever arguments they may be making today for why they should be given wide latitude by the courts due to public health concerns go right out the window once a vaccine has eliminated SARS-CoV-2 from the population.
In the end, economic concerns will trump all others. James Carville got it exactly right in 1992 when he said on TV “It’s the economy, stupid!” That’s also why I have very little doubt President Trump will win re-election. Our economy took a huge hit, mostly thanks to the terrible mismanagement from governors in mostly blue states. Who do the American people trust can help restore our economy? It sure isn’t Biden.

During his leave of absence from his chair role, Zeke will work with colleagues to launch the Health Transformation Institute (HTI) in the department, a new initiative aimed at increasing the value of the U.S. healthcare system through new innovations designed to improve quality, affordability and the patient experience.
Zeke will also be taking on a role as Senior Advisor to the Director General of the World Health Organization, an opportunity in which he will provide direction for the organization’s Universal Health Care initiative, particularly in the areas of screening and care for cancer in low-income countries and its medical ethics program. He will also help devise strategy for the WHO Academy, a training initiative for 10 million public health professionals across the globe.
