Kind of hard to “clarify” when we’ve seen the powerpoint. Whoever developed that slide will be “gone”. Why? Because they got caught and embarrassed the Company.
Their mistake was being too specific on the slides. The slide should have been more generic on the slide. The speaker can then state those bullet points verbally. The preparer of those slides wasn’t sneaky and devious enough.
They didn’t think they needed to be - they thought that their point of view *owned* that company and right now they’re right.
