Absolutely insane that the FDA is doing this. Trump needs to step in somehow.

History is not going to be kind to the people that did this - they are responsible for:
1. Tens of thousands of needless deaths;
2. Tens to hundreds of thousands of needless infections, and worse infections for those who would have otherwise gotten one; and
3. The destruction of tens to hundreds of thousands of businesses and the loss of millions of jobs.
These people should get on their knees and pray that someone whose family member died, and who lost their job or business, doesn’t come after them with the intent to repay them in kind. That may well happen...and I honestly wouldn’t shed too many tears if it did. And, NO, various police and lettered agencies, no one in my family died, and I still have my business and job - so I am not so motivated.

Someone please clarify for me. I may be completely wrong, but I was sure I’d recently read somewhere on FR that individual doctors CAN still prescribe the HCQ cocktail. Thanks for any enlightenment.

Many Doctors, who actually see patients, claim the HCQ cocktail has been effective in treating people as soon as they have been tested positive for covid.
If the medical bureaucrats really wanted to find out if HCQ was effective they would survey all the people who have taken HCQ with these questions:
What date did you have symptoms?
What date did you know you tested positive?
What date were you given HCQ?
How old are you?
What comorbidities do you have?
What was your outcome?

Some states ban it. Other states make it difficult to prescribe. Some states have no restrictions.
That being said, far too many doctors seem squishy about prescribing it after the FDA revoked the EUA for HCQ on June 15th.
Best action you can take is to ask your doctor if he would prescribe HCQ were you to be tested positive for covid.

In about 46 of the 50 states the medical or pharmacy boards have stepped in with their own orders to not prescribe or dispense. Doctors have been threatened with loss of license and it seems many are intimidated and will NOT prescribe this for covid.
Its an absolute national tragedy what has happened.
