If only. I laugh when I see environmentalists get attacked or eaten by wild animals they love so much because they're too stupid to keep their distance. They actually project their empathy on non-sentient wild species whose main instinct is there next meal after survival.
Yes, some do some good. What amazes me is that they can't seem to grasp the scientific fact that some 98% or more of all species on this rock have gone extinct by natural selection. They are so concerned that some mindless little lizard, fish, or bird die out rather than let the farmers in California have full access to water for their crops. Their priorities are senseless.
