..................
“Simply postponing” claiming and developing land that rightfully belongs to you with no clear end date IS giving something up without a doubt.
Look. First of all putting their land-rights on hold has nothing to do with the substantive purpose of this agreement which is to stand against Iran. So why is it in there? Because Israels enemies never give up on denying Israel their land. It is a bad agreement for Israel.
Secondly, theres no announced time limit on this hold. Maybe a month maybe a decade. As time goes on, so peoples ideas change and Israel will have a hard time with this one. Ill tell you this - if the Arabs have anything to say a bout it and apparently they do in this agreement, Israel will probably have to fight to get that land - all because of a bad agreement pushed by the U.S. and Jared who I dont trust.
A coalition of Israel, Egypt, Jordan and UAE to thwart Iran is very good for Israel. Their number one problem is the rats nest of Hezbollah in the Pali territory who are sponsored by Iran.. Putting annexation of west Bank territory which was never a sure thing on hold is well worth the ability to go in and take care of Hezbollah with the tacit approval of the countries around Israel. This is a very good thing.
By mentioning the UAE, you entirely miss the point.
The coalition of which you speak is based on the Gulf Cooperation Council composed of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, The UAE and Oman. The GCC is the cohesive force of the coalition of which you speak. Egypt and Jordan are minor compared to the primary GCC nations.
It is the withdrawal of the Palestinian blackmail money by the GCC that allowed Iran to become embedded there. The Palestinian fruit is now withering on the vine. Death by withering is in process. Isolation of Iran is producing the withering.
Your contention that territory is not part of the deal is false.
Territory that is rightfully Israel’s is part of the deal and because of that IMO it is a bad deal for Israel.
Israel is happy with the deal. It’s a positive thing for them. Well worth putting the annex on hold. Do you know what the definition of a good deal is? If you’re happy with it. It’s a good start.
You know Georgia Girl, you’re all over the map. The point is you challenged me about territory not being part of the deal and you were wrong but won’t admit it. Now you want to change the subject to challenging me about whether it is a good deal for Israel.
I don’t think you are reasonable and I don’t think your challenges are in good faith. I think you’re argumentative and contentious for the sake of being argumentative and contentious and I’m done with you.
Bye.
Boy are u a Debbie downer
This is a beautiful thing
You ever think those princes at the UAE might like having another friend around
Sometimes their position is tenuous at best
They are also infinitely weaker
Which explains pragmatism and their enjoying Israel friendship and pleasing us by doing so
Im guessing
Im no diplomat though I play one on family holidays
I may be a “Debbie downer” whatever that is, but I’m for America and Israel.
Let me ask you, would you agree to treaty with an enemy of America where America would give up claim to land that is rightfully America’s? I doubt it very much.
Israel should NEVER negotiate away rights ot their land and the U.S. must STOP pressuring them to do so. Israel’s right to her land should be NON-NEGOTIABLE.
Jared, who I don’t trust, was the guy behind this. I think Trump was not as intimately involved. If Turmp had been more involved, I think probably this could have been made without the land thing which has NOTHING to do with the supposed purpose of this deal.
IMO, the denial of Israel’s right to their land should have been a deal breaker.
My understanding is that Kushner headed up the deal - and that included Israel suspending it’s claim to land that is rightfully theirs.
“My understanding is that Kushner headed up the deal - and that included Israel suspending its claim to land that is rightfully theirs.”
Here you go. This is very bad news. (Genesis 12:3, Zechariah 12:3)

“Jared Kushner: The first time Israel has agreed to a map of a Palestinian state”
“...We got Israel to agreed to negotiate on the basis of the process of division, they agreed to the map and agreed to move forward on a Palestinian state. This was a major breakthrough that changed the view of a lot of people in the region about Israel’s seriousness to actually make concessions..”

That’s why I don’t trust Jared Kushner and why this is a bad deal for Israel.
Trump, DON’T send Jared to Israel - EVER!!!
Zechariah 8:2:
"Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury."
Zechariah 2:8-9:
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.
What happened to David when he came out against that armored giant with nothing more than five rocks saying, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin [guns]. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied” (1 Samuel 17:45)? He flat out killed that huge enemy of whom all the armies were afraid.
Did God rebuke him and tell him he was mocking God? Hardly. God promoted him. He was a man after God’s own heart who God ratified and made king of Israel.
The same one who said, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses [the flesh, your own self effort]: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God” (Psalm 20:7) was the same one that said, “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman wakes but in vain” (Psalm 127:1).
Except the Lord watch over me, I’m done. Except the Lord watch over you, you’re done. And except the Lord watch over America, she is done.
