Attorney General William Barr blamed the deepening partisan divide within the public on the political Left, saying that many have wandered from "classical liberal values" and instead are focusing their attention on attacking the country's founding institutions.
"I have the perspective of having been attorney general 30 years ago and now. I thought things were partisan and tough 30 years ago nothing compared to today," Barr said during a conversation with conservative radio and television host Mark Levin that aired Sunday evening. "In the old days, you could have friends across the aisle. Politics was part of your life, but it wasnt all-consuming. It wasnt everything. You could have communications and so forth with others. But its now become all-consuming for many people."
Several studies commissioned in recent months show a widening political divide in the United States, with people expressing deepening disagreements on a bevy of hot-button issues ranging from coronavirus lockdowns to gender issues and police-community relations.
Separately, a recent survey from the Pew Research Center found more people than ever are uncomfortable sharing their political beliefs or voting records openly, a trend more prevalent among conservatives.

Barr sure does talk a good game, though.......
Liberals have always accused social conservatives of bringing religion into politics, but liberals have done something far worse, and far more radical: They have made politics their religion...What they really want is liberal Sharia law, a secular theocracy.
The minimum wage, gender equality, nationalized health care, and global warmingwhatever their practical virtuesare not just expedient policy prescriptions. They are essential aspects of the liberal fatwa...Question them and you are not just wrongyou are a heretic.
Leftists are working to create Hell on Earth, not Heaven on Earth.
The Left is not trying to do that, and to say they are is to mischaracterize them.
Now thats a phrase Ill have to drop at my next (masked and socially distant) cocktail party ;-)
Sorry. I just get less interested in anything Bill Barr has to say as each day passes.
I think he just wants everyone to get along...
It would be cool if he were to actually do something about the coup. It’s effectively too late even today. By Labor Day it will be way too late. Any arrests or indictments will be spun as politically motivated, the one thing that Barr himself has lamented about the 0 crowd.
See, he’s nice.
Thanks for links!!
What do you think is happening? Ever heard of grand juries? Massive crimes with numerous criminals working together for years, many in gov positions, also involving foreign governments and/or individuals?
You think it would all be wrapped up in a year? Looks as though we’ll see some results pretty soon.
You would know that if you read and paid attention.
That’s because you have no clue what is going on.
Clues are available but you seem not to be intersted in clues.
Is their a way to download YouTube videos while on wifi for later viewing when without wifi?
