Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his newly named running mate, California Sen. Kamala Harris, will make their first joint appearance Wednesday, following Biden's announcement of the selection Tuesday.
The Biden campaign says the pair will deliver remarks in his hometown of Wilmington, Del., on "working together to restore the soul of the nation and fight for working families to move the country forward." The two also plan on attending a virtual fundraiser in the evening, according to the campaign. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, an introductory rally in front of throngs of supporters is not possible.

I’m right there with you. I figured there was no way they’d stick with Biden, especially after his very public “senior moments” where his worsening dementia became increasingly apparent. Yet here we sit, with a sizable number of people - Republicans, independents, and even Democrats - convinced Biden is suffering from dementia, and they’re sticking with him as the candidate.
This is beginning to look like 2016 all over again: you have many candidates who could potentially beat President Trump in the election, but the Democrats insist on putting up the one candidate who definitely cannot. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled with the outcome. I just think it’s an insanely foolish move and I honestly don’t understand it.
