SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) — Gov. JB Pritzker’s emergency rules that aim to enforce mandatory masks and social distancing in businesses across the state are now in effect.
The new rules were supposed to be approved and voted on by the bipartisan Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR) on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
A motion to suspend the rules was introduced by Rep. Steven Reick, R-Woodstock, but failed in a vote of 6 to 5. The failure to suspend the rules meant they officially went into effect.
The six votes to suspend were all by Republican members of the committee.

Indeed. GF's sister in law is a DPH employee in Oak Park. She has a less than zero interest in trying to enforce Prickster's "mandate" with the three people she has working with her in Oak Park.

Have they deputized a bunch of common everyday citizens to enforce the mandate? If someone isn’t wearing one, some folks will take it upon themselves to step in. Results may vary.
You are joking,right? The thieves[looters] are future Government employees and agents in training. Ditto murders and rapists. They will either run and be elected for political office as Democrats or be hired off the street by Democrats.

I see the ComDems in Portland, Seattle, Chicago, et al obey the rules really well.

That is encouraging to hear, but Oak Park is a liberal town, I would venture a guess and say most of the residents there happily wear their masks.
There’s plenty of those signs where I live north of I-80 and between I-57 and I-355. They’re far from a downstate thing.
Doesn’t look like most of the state legislature is any better.
