There are a lot of problems with Harris but questioning why Biden chose her is idiotic. The reason is obvious; Biden chose her for the same reason Trump chose Pence. Women and African-Americans are the two largest parts of the Democratic base and Harris checks off those two boxes. White men and evangelicals are the two largest parts of the Republican base and Pence checks off those two boxes. Your vice-presidential pick shouldn't hurt the ticket. Harris doesn't.

The back story is that Biden preferred Gretchen Whitmer. The dems may have forced Kamala Harris on him because she is the one least likely to object removing him via the 25th amendment.
Hillary is finished as a presidential candidate. I think the Democrats are throwing away the presidential race to concentrate on winning back the Senate and keeping the House, and of course I mean stealing back the Senate. They can keep Trump at bay for the next four years while controlling the investigative committees in Congress. I think this is the Democrats Plan B. They can plan more investigations on Trump and pave the way for winning the presidency and controlling both chambers of Congress in 2024. I don’t think the RATS want to get involved in a stolen presidential race. Controlling both chambers in Congress to harass Trump and the GOP and waiting for 2024 would be a far better plan for the RATS and a far less messy scenario for them to eventually gaining everything in four years.
