Within hours of the announcement that Kamala Harris would be Joe Biden’s running mate, CNN published an article asserting that Harris would be able to take on the presidency if and when Biden decides to “step aside.”
“Joe Biden made the pick that maximized his chances of continuing to make the race a straight referendum on Trump while also selecting someone whose resume suggests being ready to step in, if and when Biden decides to step aside,” states a tweet by CNN which links to an article by CNN editor-at-large Chris Cilizza...

Ben, you are on drugs. Biden has been a race pimp from day one of his campaign.
This pick makes no sense unless Deep State is convinced they have no shot at winning the election.
Wonder what the next plot will be.

I want to see Harris vilified the same way as Palin. The vilification of Palin was unjustified, while Harris deserves to be criticized for her past words and actions.
I couldn’t agree with you more. Several times, the dems have pulled a losing candidate out at the last second, not minute, and snow-plowed another on to the ticket to snatch a win from certain defeat.
I can well see a sudden discovery of Biden’s dementia and an efficient trotting out of Hillary to lead the ticket, even if it is so late that the ballots still have Joe’s name on them.
She and her health problems, and her sordid history, will have thus escaped 2 years of scrutiny.
Once in office, she can fix any problems, past, present or future.
The outcome was decided in favor of Trump/Pence when Gropin’ declared he’d pick a black female as Veep. He put the DemonRats in a box.
Biden chose the one primary candidate who received ZERO delegates from her own party.
Kamala was rejected by the DNC rank and file, but Joe thought she would make a good VP.
No future election’s outcome is decided. Depending on fraud, block votes and other factors, this one is wide open.
