The real reason behind why nothing is done about crime in Chicago and the other big Commie cities ... it is a lone term plan to force a lot of people out of the city to the suburbs and rural areas, thus seeding the countryside with commie votes.
Then down the road the commie votes will cancel out conservative suburbs/rural areas, relieve pressure on services in the abandoned cities but still ensure that the cities will be save commie votes.
It is to spread the infection far and wide in the future.
