I would not be surprised if one of the reasons the entity claiming to be "Biden" took so long to decide was that they were hoping Moochelle would run. I was wondering if the Obama team was afraid that running for VP might complicate some campaign finance laws WRT their netflix shows.

I was scared to death that it would be Michelle Obama. Whew!
The Wookie Michelle (as a Lurleen Wallace proxy for Barack) could have easily won the Presidential nomination if she had wanted, clearly she was never interested (they say she hates campaigning).
Harris, the expected choice. The black Selina Meyer. This is like me standing in front of the counter at Baskin Robbins ALL day before finally going with vanilla (note, I love vanilla though) right before they are about to close. Of all the choices her impact on the race will be the least. A “safe” choice. Logical if he believes he’s ahead in the polls, no reason to rock the boat.
They have a lot in common, both bombed terribly in their first run for the Presidency, both would climb over the fresh corpse of their mother for a taste of power.
I’ll note that like Obama her black ancestry is of the immigrant variety, she has little in common with most black Americans, curious coincidence.
