The Obama administration resettled more than 200,000 refugees during the first three years of each of its two terms. The Trump administration resettled almost 80,000 refugees during its first three years.

Congratulations, Mr. President.

A refugee reduction of 120,000 over your first three years.

In 2020, you might have another 70,000 refugee reduction.

Unfortunately, ALL of your other immigration numbers completely suck.

New naturalized citizens - more than Obama.

Green Cards - more than Obama.

OPT work visas - more than Obama.

DACA - abject failure. You have made it crystal clear that you will never deport any DACAs unless they are dangerous criminals.

Temporary Protected Status - same as Obama - just moved into different categories.

H1B work visas - same as Obama.

Work place raids and employer prosecutions - less than Obama.

Deportations - if we just count illegals who were captured in the interior USA, prosecuted, and physically sent back - more than Obama. However, every other deportation category - same as or worse than Obama.

Sooooo, we should vote Biden, then? Because that’s the only other option.

I forgot birthright citizenship...

Running at 300,000 to 325,000 per year.

Worse than Obama.

Vote for Biden?

What idiot would do that?

I will vote for the most Conservative candidate who has a chance to win the election - Donald Trump.

If Conservatives do not hold Trump's feet to the political fire on the immigration issue, who will?

Obviously, not you.

There is a hard limit as to what he can do, and he has to horsetrade with a hostile Congress.

If we give him the House and perhaps a more conservative Senate, he will be able to do more. We need to do our part.

But as you’ve presented and complained above, the “holding his feet to the fire” can only take the form of “voting for Democrats.” There is literally no other way to “hold his feet to the fire” than to threaten to then vote Democrat.

We could have a bitter sweet election with Trump winning and the Rats win the House and Senate. Not good. I hope the majority of people will see the folly,and that’s saying it lightly,of voting for defacto commies.

We need to expose the LEGAL immigration BS. Trump and the GOP shouldn't get a pass.

This should be part of a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1986 ONE TIME amnesty. Since that amnesty was granted already, a second amnesty is off the table. What remains is the enforcement the Democrats have disallowed since then.

The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1986 goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund.

Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport, and remove colonizadors from our welfare rolls.

We need to pass these protections in order not to make out Democrats as liars who promised the protection in exchange for a ONE TIME AMNESTY. The Democrats got the amnesty already. Now its past time for the protections we were promised.

I agree it needs to be looked at, but stupid ideas like “We need to hold his feet to the fire” need to receive a reality check too.
