Gov. Justice promises to pay WV share of supplemental unemployment (WV accepts Trump’s Plan)

CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — Gov.Jim Justice said West Virginia will pay 25% of any new federal unemployment benefits that come from Washington. President Trump signed an Executive Order to give the unemployed an additional 400 dollars per week, with the states paying 100 of that.

So far, four states have accepted Trump’s Plan for $400 Extended Unemployment via FEMA Emergency Unemployment Assistance plan:

WV, AZ, AL, and OH

Pretty damn brilliant on multiple levels. One level being that if the Democrats who run various states refuse to pitch in the $100 they don’t look so good. Trump is, simply put, a total badass when it comes to political chess.

It’s like you go to a big box store, to buy an item nationally advertised ‘on sale’; but the local store, doesn’t know about the sale, and won’t give you the discount. You then insist, you get the nationally advertised price.
