When this started circulating SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said, "I guess this will mean ESPN will pay us a whole lot more to televise our games."
His response to the MAC was, "Why should we care what the MAC does."

Well I’ve never heard of Commission Greg Sankey but I like the way he thinks. His comment about the MAC is spot on.

Whatever conference decides to pull the trigger first is begging all other power 5 conferences to also cancel. Imagine Big 10 cancelling and half of their most talented players immediately entering the transfer portal to go play elsewhere.

Those days ended in the 60’s ... it’s hired professionals too young for the NFL.
Change the law so the NFL can hire talented athletes starting when they’re 18.
