She had been asked if Vice President Biden raised the Logan Act in their Oval Office discussion of Flynn on January 5, 2017, seven days before the felony leak on Flynn’s alleged “Logan Act” violation was published. Flynn’s appeals hearing is on Tuesday, and Vice President Biden and President Trump are on the ballot in less than 90 days. These issues should be beyond politics. They should have been dealt with before now. They would have, if Washington insiders could “remember” things, like how to provide legally-mandated documents under our Constitution or their duties to the public.

This is also beyond the pervasive, often subconscious, partisanship that now blinds us. In my work after 9/11, I saw how those national security powers combined with unaccountable government officials could do things George Orwell never dreamed over. Russia and foreign interference in elections should be taken seriously. Yet pushing the threat of Russia—now a country with a GDP the CIA publicly estimates is far closer to Indonesia’s than our own—like we are in the middle of a 1950’s Red Scare push by Senator Joseph McCarthy, should not be used as a political weapon to cover up or excuse our own government officials’ abuses.

For years, political and intelligence officials have concealed key documents — and even my former supervisor the Walrus — in ways that have divided America and derailed our government’s work.If Biden, Trump, or members of their teams grossly abused national security powers to upend democracy, we deserve to know as soon as possible before the election.

While Schrage’s account seems plausible,I just wonder if we are being manipulated by the intel community once again. Who benefits from pushing this narrative of the Cambridge Four? Why didn’t Schrage come forward much earlier and spared us the destruction of Mueller and the Russia hoax? Lots of questions.

Here is the latest take from BD on the Three Gorges Dam which has been under siege for some time now and may eventually have bigger problems than it has now.

Right now the water is flowing under the Dam. A lot and if you examine the ground on both sides on the Dam you can see color variations the Chinese are hiding. The color of the water is a big clue. The photos I saw show the dam is f__ked up like a bad tooth and pulling it will go easy with the earthquake.(an earthquake may occur--is it man made or natural--no one knows) The area beneath the Dam that is f__ked is huge. Oh by the way. Hearing China has decided not to warn anyone about what is happening. Guess they are going to drown as many as possible.(end BD take)

By way of background recently, it's claimed that divers went down to see for themselves what was going on at the dam that keeps the Yangteze river from flowing down stream to the China sea.(It rises at Jari Hill in the Tanggula Mountains and flows 6,300km-- "3,900 miles or so" in a generally easterly direction to the East China Sea.Wikipedia)THe river has already flooded severely down stream effecting over 100 million so far.Cities like Wuhan have had standing water for weeks now.

Diver claims are that the dam has holes created by the driving current,water is now running under the dam,around the dam and signs of further erosion due to coloration of the soil are now being seen.

The dam which is also the largest hydroelectric project in the world has been plagued by poor construction,failed welds, cracking in the concrete, a slight bowing on top. If dam officials open up the sluices any more it will only exacerbate the flooding which is already terrible for downstream residents of which 400 million could be effected.

In essence the failure of the dam is described as 911 X 10.

I'm going through the thread right now and your comment on Trump's plan regarding payroll taxes caught my eye. He said he would extend it past the first of the year if re-elected. Your comment about resuming deductions will not be looked at favorably (to put it mildly).

That got me to thinking. For years, Rush has been talking about Americans don't really balk (as in a full-on revolt) about taxes coming out of their checks because they never see that money. Only on paper.

This move by President Trump will show Americans what is automatically stolen each pay period even though it's only a fraction of what is stolen. This may start something big i.e. eliminating payroll taxes or modifying that lousy system of theft.

Knowing how Trump strategizes, perhaps he intends for that to happen. Or it could just be an unintended consequence. Either way, it will be interesting to see if there will be any kind of 'dust up' when the deductions resume.
