How is that different from so-called Black people?
They can be of every cultural background, too. Most Black Americans are mixed-race in one way or another; and have backgrounds in all religions, and even carry on the customs of many different ‘ethnicities’, including a lot of European ones.
What he said was a slam against Black Americans and their *thought*. He was making the typical liberal assumption that all Black people are of one mind about everything; in other words - he was TAKING THEM FOR GRANTED.

Mixed race is not the same as white Hispanic or black Hispanic, or Asian Hispanic. Even the mixed blacks call themselves blacks, like Obama.
By now, through the course of human history around the world, one could find that, most people have a mix in their genetic material which indicates part everything. But, that does not mean that every person is black or Hispanic or white, or Asian.
