Meanwhile, a stunning 84 percent of Americans agree that "the media is to blame for political division in this country," though the same percentage also believe the media "can serve as a healing force."

That’s what it is, and it’s absolutely disgusting. They are allowing him to be humiliated world wide out of their own greed.
Tell me about it.
Things weren’t quite so bad back in my day, starting in 1983.
I should note that professional standards were higher in the hometown press, where I spent my entire career. I can hardly imagine what it’s like working for a major metro daily.
For example, no managing editor I worked under would allow anonymous sources, except under the most exceptional of circumstances, and then usually after getting the OK from our lawyers.
My editors basically cared about getting your facts straight and your copy in on time with minimal errors. I was able to do this for 25 years.
Then I finally became a managing editor myself only to see the company go out of business shortly thereafter. But that’s my personal heartbreak. If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that nobody gives a damn about your problems. Just do your job and carry on.
Right now, my job is taking it easy and being a grumpy old man, both of which I can hardly fail at.
Do you mean to tell me that 16% haven’t figured this out yet?
How about some documentaries on the duplicity of the American media?
According to Democrat Pat Caddell (RIP), they are the enemy of the American people.
Instead of putting all the blame for US divide on media, ordinary patriot voters can save a slice of the blame pie for themselves imo.
More specifically, much of the countrys problems are traceable (imo) to ordinary patriot voters who abuse their 17th Amendment voting power. They abuse this power by electing senators who evidently dont know the federal governments constitutionally limited powers any better than the patriots who elected them probably do.
As a consequence, corrupt career senators help likewise corrupt career representative stay in power by passing all kinds of constitutionally indefensible domestic policy and spending bills to buy votes to stay in power.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
We need to get rid of the ill-conceived 17th Amendment.
The 16th Amendment can disappear too.
Send "Orange Man Bad" federal and state government desperate Democrats home in November!
Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping SARS-CoV-2 will effectively give fast-working Trump a "third term" in office imo.
"The Holy Grail of organized crime is to control Uncle Sam's "unlimited credit card."" me
"The power to tax involves the power to destroy, [...] Chief Justice John Marshall, McCulloch v. Maryland, 1819.
"The 16th Amendment effectively repealed the involuntary servitude aspect of the 13th Amendment imo, evidenced by unconstitutional federal taxes." me
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"13th Amendment, Section 1:
Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude [emphasis added], except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."
"16th Amendment:
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."
"Its politically correct, under the Democratic Party and its tyrant judges, to use your voting power to make your fellow citizens involuntary servants." me
"The Democratic elite define a "pro-choice" democracy as being able to vote for your preferred master." me
"The ill-conceived 17th Amendment not only effectively politically repealed the 3/4 state supermajority requirement of the Constitutions Article V for ratification of proposed amendments to the Constitution imo, politically correct interpretations of the Constitution now prevailing under Democratic judicial tyranny, but also consider this. That amendment also effectively nullified Congresss constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers along with the Supreme Courts clarification of Congresss limited power to appropriate taxes." me
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
"The constitutionally undefined political parties are basically rival, corrupt voter unions, union dues paid by means of unconstitutional federal taxes. Belonging to a political party means that you are a subject, not a member. me
"Patriots need to support PDJT in demanding that Congress moves "April 15" tax day to the day before election day." me
"The smart crooks long ago figured out that getting themselves elected to federal office to make unconstitutional tax laws to fill their pockets is a much easier way to make a living than robbing banks." me
"Federal career lawmakers probably laugh all the way to the bank to deposit bribes for putting loopholes for the rich and corporations in tax appropriations laws, Congress actually not having the express constitutional authority to make most appropriations laws where domestic policy is concerned. Such laws are based on stolen state powers and uniquely associated stolen state revenues." me
Me too, but the problem is finding an outlet with editors who won't blue pencil conservative views...or worse, simply won't print anything that goes against the liberal mantra.
As professionals, we both know that the best way to slant the news is simply to spike any story that contradicts the chosen editorial agenda.
He's the Republican leader and just as partisan in his own way as Schumer and Pelosi are in their's. He's a quick study, I guess.
Thank God then that voters see through the notion of media “fact checkers”. As far as making up the news entirely I put CNN and New York Times in that category. As far as doing their job to inform, I would say OAN and Fox News to a smaller degree are the only ones performing that function.
And this is just talking about bias and intention. Never mind the media has always been completely incompetent in the subjects they report on. I still contend hands down the worst is the financial media.
Entertainment is actually a little more sinister. Americans don’t like preaching, but if you can subtly do so with entertainment you can turn them.
I don’t know but when have you ever heard critical assessment of China?
Even a slightly fair and somewhat unbiased reporter resulted in "leaders and members on both sides of the aisle" being tossed out.
Don't you remember...
I think that things changed in the MSM after Rod Blagojevich took the fall for the Democrats' scheme to sell the Senate seat being vacated by Barack Obama. This was the turning point for the MSM to turn a blind eye towards Democrats, while hounding Republicans out of office.
Prior to the MSM saving Obama (whom I believe was up to his ears in the scandal), the MSM would report the news. Post the Blago/Obama scandal, the MSM changed their playbook.

Have you seen this video of him? He gets worse day by day. My brother says Bidens dementia is aggressive which I totally agree with.....

That's what's interesting. Granted it might not have been as bad, I can see that.
The interesting part is how long it's been going on!
A Freeper posted an image of a cartoon from the 1860's(!) showing the trash coming from the mouth of the media - it was a cartoon.
Other Freepers have pointed out the Scottsboro boys, in the 1920's, and another posted an article about Sacco and Vanzetti:
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2020/06/the_floyd_riots_mark_a_century_of_communist_agitation.html
which was fascinating.
The commies have been at it a LONG time.
I guess they're thinking, "How humiliated could he really be if he doesn't remember it tomorrow morning?"

Well, especially not with what’s being taught in some idiotic colleges these days.
The Enemy of the People, Front and Center!
No. They started long before that.
They covered for FDR, JFK, LBJ, the Kennedy family in general, Slick Willy, etc.
They covered up FDR's disability and affair, but not WWII.
They covered up JFK's disabilities and affairs, but not Bay of Pigs.
The covered up LBJ affairs, but not Vietnam.
Since Obama, they blacked out everything, and twisted the news to try to blame everything on Republicans.

Haven’t we been seeing this 84% number a couple of times now? Wasn’t that the “masks are good” number, too?
