WASHINGTON — President Trump’s campaign has formally requested a presidential debate be moved to the first week of September, and that another debate be added to the schedule, as they try to get ahead of early voting amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Trump’s personal attorney and former Big Apple mayor Rudy Giuliani made the request in a letter sent Wednesday to the Commission on Presidential Debates where he called the current timetable “an outdated dinosaur,” according to a report by Axios.
“By the time of the first presidential debate on September 29, 2020, at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, as many as eight million Americans in 16 states will have already started voting,” Giuliani wrote in the letter obtained by the publication.

You may be right, but just having Trump put that out there shows he is willing to debate and not hide, unlike Biden. Good chance just the mere thought of doing a debate soon and having additional ones will cause Biden's brain to short-circuit further.

He’s trolling/taunting. An early debate would give the rats time to switch candidates on the ballot. Would they? They’re desperate. Limiting the damage with Biden is not the answer.

Yes. Because by that time many people would have already voted early and often for Biden. The ballots are already pre-printed with a check mark by his name.

I’m assuming that all of the debates will be virtual.
Biden campaign will decline and say the current schedule is sufficient and keeping with past elections.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Biden passes away by then. His handlers are very cruel to be doing this to him.
Trump should have named Giuliani as his first atty. gen.
I LOVE Rudy but I don’t know if he was sharp enough at that point to take that position on.
But in retrospect, he couldn’t have been worse and has NO problem going after anybody for real.
