CNN's media guru Brian Stelter raised eyebrows after he said that "mostly right-wing media" is behind the growing push for Joe Biden not to debate President Trump.
On Monday, The New York Times sparked mockery across social media for an op-ed arguing that presidential debates should be "scrapped" with critics suggesting that it's the latest effort by the media to prevent Biden from debating Trump.
Townhall.com political editor and Fox News contributor Guy Benson quipped about the puzzling media trend, writing, "This ‘Biden shouldn’t debate’ boomlet is just a media tempest, right? Right?"

In fact I am MOST worried that he will be seen as beating up a disabled person and garnering sympathy for Biden.

Of all the CNN op ed people, Stelter is the weak sister. And this is even including Don Lemon.
HIs show and his analysis is so bad it’s almost like watching a Saturday Night Live skit mocking CNN.

When is Joe Bidens Wife or Campaign Manager going to be Criminally Charged with Senior Abuse? They are Exploiting and Abusing a very sick individual with dementia.

As I always say, the Dems aren’t dumb. First, they know there can NEVER be a debate between Biden and Trump. This isn’t 4 years ago where a drug-cocktail capable of preventing brain-seizures was enough to get Skunk Cabbage through. This time, their candidate literally belongs in Assisted Living.
The only question is how to shift the blame for no debates from Biden’s people to Trump. So the float the idea of no debates, get the Republicans talking about it (which is working so far), and then set terms that cannot be met, and say not having debates was Trump’s plan all along. Of course Trump will call that out, but they’ll just say that’s Trump lying, once again.
Otherwise they need to find a way to get someone else on the top of the ticket.

If the debate allowed Biden to confer with a team of advisors before answering a question, President Trump would still convincingly win. The Left has nothing to convincingly argue on favor of Biden or against Trump’s record of accomplishments as President.
Great point! In fact its so obvious I feel stupid I missed it.
They DO NOT want Biden to debate Trump, and get destroyed so they must find a way to cancel the debates.
So blame the ‘right wing’ for wanting to cancel the debates.
CNN’s media guru Brian didn’t get the memo Biden is unable to debate,they can’t get a prompter to cue him fast enough.
