At least once a day, I find myself taking a breath and silently marveling over the outrageous fact that the Department of Justice continues to fight my computer intrusion case in court. They are spending your tax money to protect the guilty parties rather than hold them accountable. This is the opposite of what they and our justice system are supposed to do. They have not changed their obstruction and obfuscation over the seven years spanning this fight -- no matter the facts.
They dont have to. They have the upper hand. Realistically, theres not much of a damn thing a citizen like me can do about it. My attorneys and I have expansive, independent forensic proof of the intrusions. We have a government deposition admitting the government controlled the internet protocol (IP) addresses involved. We now even have one of the agents involved admitting what he did and naming names.
But the Department of Justice has something far more crucial than evidence and facts. It has an unlimited flow of money, a grip on the information about the illegal operation, and the absolute power to protect rather than prosecute the guilty agents.

Get in line, sister! They spied on the President of the United States, both while he was a candidate and after he was elected.
So you mean to say that Obama-Holder were building a police state?
Im shocked!
I like Atkinson though and hope she prevails - her and James Rosen.
We shouldn’t forget that Holder is from Obama years.
If AG Barr does not indict Hussein Obama before the election he will have done his job well for the globalist insurrectionists.
But this withholding of evidence by the DOJ in Attkisson’s and Flynn’s cases has gotten entirely out of hand.
More BS from the Trump DoJ.
Yes, nearly through his term, he has to take responsibility for his key departments, headed up by people he appointed.
Democrats are Democrats first.
Living by our laws is way down on their list.
Her too huh?
It's almost as if she's trolling for clicks.
He says there will never be justice unless the good police, lawyers, prosecutors and judges rat out and convict the corrupt ones..
American Thinker doesn’t take comments, but here is a suggestion: When writing about this, Atkisson should include the names of the US Attorneys handling her case. They are likely just following orders, but allowing them to operate with near anonymity helps them dodge responsibility. What if they are players in other DOJ dirty deeds?
Keep in mind, this is now the Barr Justice Department that is fighting to keep secret what they did to her.
Yes. It is fascinating. Barr cant/wont take on the deep state. It means Trump cant or wont reform them either. Do they feel the bad actors are out, thats good enough to carry on, or dont want to disrupt these organizations further?
Obviously all the bad actors are not out.
They would not still be covering up if that were true.
Bureaucracies, particularly government ones, are entities unto themselves. Politicians come and go, but government agencies exist forever (its also why I think term limits on elected officials are a bad idea, we need term limits on programs and bureaucrats). And the bureaucrats in intelligence, investigation and with control of criminal prosecutions are always and everywhere the most arrogant, and abusive - given the nature of their work.
Perhaps Trump and the DOJ/FBI/CIA have reached a truce or stalemate. He cant destroy the bad actors, and they cant destroy him. Hes got enough of his people now in the organizations to at least fence them in.
Thats my best guess.
A sign of a sick society.. When Justice is administered by criminals.
American Thinker used to take comments but they stopped several month ago. The federalist used to take comments too. but google made them stop.
perhaps the sandmann er moneyman’s lawyer can lend a hand...
Barr has always been an apologist for the police state.
