"I'm afraid to say it out loud..." The silent majority is very real!
Super
The inclusion of his middle initial is fairly recent, if I'm not mistaken. I take it as a subtle attempt at rebranding, and it seems effective to me.
This is a nice ad but only 6900 views so far and probably half of them are FReepers.. Hard to win anything that way. It needs to have mass exposure.
Can I conclude from your comment that you believe surgeons and operating room nurses are dehumanized?
Can I conclude from your strawman argument that you are a complete idiot and have little knowledge of the concept of “conversation”?
Dylan,
Yes!
You missed my point entirely. If masks are not effective, why are they still used in virtually all operating rooms. One can argue which government oversee whether or not masks are required, but it remains that a major reason for any government is to to protect its citizens from all enemies, domestic and foreign.
Masks are used in an operating room much differently than they are by an average citizen.
In an operating room the mask is not touched by anyone after it is put on. The mask is only used once and in one room.
Average citizen uses the mask in multiple areas and reused often. All while being touched etc.
But you keep on wearing yours. I’m fine with that.
If you do not watch Eric Metaxas' entire 2012 National Prayer Breakfast address, please watch from 18:36-19:23.
The issues you raise all boil down to THE issue of education. Although masks as presently made and used are not totally effective if they saved only one life rules governing their use could be justified. As an aside, I wonder how many anti-maskers are pro life.
No, I don’t think so.
You established a strawman in order to make me look foolish.
Pretty obvious to me.
Thanks but no thanks.
1. Too long
2. Metaxas picks and chooses Biblical doctrine to fit his agenda.
18:36-19:23 = 47 seconds. He agreed with and amplified your point.
So get Educated.
Mask are purely a symbolic gesture of conformance.
This is about individual responsibility.
- Wash your hands and face often
- Limit travel and local errands
- Keep social distancing where possible
- Wash your hands and face often
- Protect those who are more vulnerable (Grandma, Fat uncle Joe), fresh clothes, washed hands and face etc prior to visiting. Here is where I will agree to a mask for a limited amount of time and location.
- Go to work, start living again without fear
- Wash your hands and face often
Apples & oranges.
you really don’t know what your talking about. I worked in a clean room and wore a mask for 40 hr. a week, for over 35 years. First off, clean rooms are not the same thing as being in a walmart. The air is constantly moving and going through air handlers and constantly filtered. The surfaces are wiped down with alcohol every 12 hours. The floors are washed with alcohol every 6 hours. The face masks are NEVER reworn. they are changed every time you leave the cleanroom, or if you should sneeze or cough into them.
Every 3 - 6 months there are classes which inevitably has a slide showing someone sneezing while wearing a mask. Let’s just say the mask does not contain the small sneeze particles.
You wear a mask if you want, but wearing a mask in the general public, is like wearing a petri dish on your face. You may not feel the moisture you are creating by breathing, but everything else will find it. Here is a good visualization of someone vapping while wearing a mask. 8 sec. long.

Most all of them.
Why, would our wearing masks stop them from killing babies?
The “if it saves one life” standard is a leftist standard that can be used to justify any tyranny they desire.
