No Californian can bring anything to the ticket. It isn't as though California is going to go for Trump - well one can fantacize - and the rest of the country despises California.

This shows the problem Joe has. The Radicals have him flumoxed. Radicals aren't going to vote for Trump, but a radical VP and Rad-Joe himself in his cool shades out for a strole around the rest home with his nurse will certainly turn off a lot of swing staters who just want jobs.
