President Donald Trump doubled down on his threat to delay November's election, citing concerns mail-in voting could lead to a rigged and crooked result as one of the Republican Party's most prominent conservative members said Trump should be impeached over the matter.
Trump, in a brief news conference at the White House on Thursday evening, said he didn't want to see the election delayed but also argued he didn't want to see mail-in ballots go missing, indicating his opposition to mail-in voting remains an issue in regards to the general election. 'We're asking for a lot of trouble,' Trump said. 'Do I want to see a date change? No. But I don't want to see a crooked election. This election will be the most rigged election in history.'
More and more states are looking at mail-in voting options as a way to counter the coronavirus pandemic but Republicans believe that favors voting blocs that vote Democrats and are suing several states to stop the process.
'I don't want to delay,' Trump added. 'I want to have the election. But I also don't want to have to wait three months and then find out that the ballots are all missing and the election doesn't mean anything. That what's going to happen. And everyone knows it,' he added. 'Smart people know. Stupid people may not know it. Some people don't want to talk about it. But they know it.'
Meanwhile, prominent conservative Steven Calabresi co-founder of the Federalist Society, said Trump's tweet on Thursday morning calling for an election delay was ground for impeachment. 'This latest tweet is fascistic and is itself grounds for the president's immediate impeachment again by the House of Representatives and his removal from office by the Senate,' Calabresi wrote in an op-ed for The New York Times.

This stems all from the covid crap. If you are in a high risk subset of the population and are afraid that you would contract the virus at a voting booth, then it is your responsibility to find out how and what the deadline for obtaining an absentee ballot. This situation didn’t just start yesterday where people had no time to think about this. You notice the dems have not brought up the option of absentee voting. Must be harder to cheat with those.

My husband would always watch Obama’s speeches although we detested him as president. I couldn’t stomach his voice and refused to listen with him. He’d tell me, we have to know what these people are up to or they’ll get away with everything they wish to without opposition. That is true.
Per 3 US Code 19
“If, by reason of death, resignation, removal from office, inability, or failure to qualify, there is neither a President nor Vice President to discharge the powers and duties of the office of President, then the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall, upon his resignation as Speaker and as Representative in Congress, act as President.”
No election means Trump and Pence would fail to qualify.

New York State’s 12th Congressional District (CD) [pop. 712k] is the 4th smallest CD by area at 14.79 square miles, split by the East River with about a 50-50 on Manhattan and Brooklyn. Its per capita income at $75k+ is first of all United States CDs with a demographic 64% White with Asian & Hispanic both at 14% and 5% Black.
What this means is that the early voting started on June 13 for the Primary Election Day of June 23rd AND Mail-In Ballots have to come in by June 30th. That is 10 days where the voter can put on their mask, descend to street level and SAUNTER to a ballot box. Yet it appears that this race depends upon a creaky USPS that had no plan-in-place to date-stamp non-stamped ballots.

The reason for no postage stamps on many ballot envelopes is that Gov. Cuomo mandated as part of COVID isolation that no one should be required to pay for 1st class postage to vote-by-mail! USPS does not date validate non-stamped mail as there is no stamp to cancel. Remember automation? These machines are designed for a specific process and there was no point in wasting ink and time in cancelling "3rd Class" mail!
Multiply this by 50 states and remember the US Constitution constraints on dates for the Electors. See the US Supreme Court decision on Bush v Gore 2000. The Florida Supreme Court of that time was heavily dominated by Democrats and would have been happy to drag it out until Gore won!

If I wanted to hear or read what the Left says, I would go to their sources. I don’t care. We all know what they are doing. I don’t have to be told over and over again.
I understand how both of you feel. But...as with Trump’s niece, the left is hailing her “book” as if it’s Gospel rather than garbage. Know what? I have searched all over and cannot find hardly anything meaningful in regards to her own brother speaking out against it being full of lies. That or is pending lawsuit against her for defamation. Not seeing the conservatives doing their due diligence getting the word of truth out in a proper manner....so we have little choice.
