Former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain dies after battle with coronavirus

Herman Cain, former presidential hopeful who was once considered by President Donald Trump for the Federal Reserve, has died after being hospitalized with the coronavirus. He was 74.
Cain’s death was announced Thursday on his website by Dan Calabrese, who edits the site and had previously written about his colleague’s diagnosis.
In addition to his wife Gloria Etchison, survivors include his two children, Melanie and Vincent, Calabrese said.

I supported him for the same reason I supported Trump- he had run businesses and was not a career politician. He’d spent most of his life outside the DC bubble.

I’m guessing that he will not lie in State in the Capitol Rotunda, won’t get six days of unending TV coverage of the funeral rituals and memorials and he won’t be getting a statue on the empty pedestal of some Confederate General.

May have been democrat physicians. I'm skeptical of a lot of things these days.

Trump stood aside to allow Mr Cain access to the stage, as Jeb Bush rudely just walked right by Mr Cain.. No, that was Dr. Carson, when Carson had apparently not heard his entrance cue. Different election cycle.

He didn’t wear a mask after calling it a not serious virus. He did a lot wrong.As this article (or another on FR today) pointed out, he had a number of appointments in the preceding weeks, so the point of exposure is not known. None of the four articles on FR to date/time mentioned whether he was given HCQ. Do you have a source for that?
