That was my first thought.
I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Unresolved stress that goes on for days leads to a “cleansing” of my bowels that is most unpleasant. I’m talking HOURS sitting on the porcelain throne, unable to get up. Having to flush several times as my bowels empty (you would be surprised at how much crap is in your bowels) until there is nothing left. With that comes chills and sweats and the feeling that a bowling ball is slowly making it’s way through your bowels.
How likely to riot would people be if we had something that could induce IBS?
How about boiling oil from the top of the federal court house?
My favorite was the “sticky foam’. I’d rather be gassed ath deal with that stuff.

Leave it to the left to determine that a weapon against someone, those someones they misrepresent as peaceful, is there to automatically be used. It isn’t. It is intended as a deterrent better than a weapon to be used when peaceful measures are no longer an option. There have been a number like cameras, security guards, electric fences, and others. In war, where they actually expect them to be used, they used land mines, IED’s, snipers, and now satellite and drones.
I’m all for it if it is actually used with good reason. And it is non-lethal but will scatter rioters:

It only reacts on the surface of the skin, is safer than radial waves used in microwaves, and can even target a single person if asked. Bring it on as it can be used from a few blocks away and still be effective. It also has the ability to project into buildings and force people to come out for arrest if they barricade.
