Some of this stuff is starting to make it look as if Fauci WANTS to get fired.
When the “impeachment” thing was going on, it did seem like some FBI guys wanted to be fired. That would have been good ammunition against Trump — a “Friday Night Massacre” or whatever. But the President let it all play out, for the most part.
If Fauci wants to get fired, he’s probably hoping to make the President look bad.
That would be a logical anti-Trump ploy. Trump fires Fauci then immediate press bruhaha with headines “ Trump is killing Americans!”.
Fauci has been on so many different sides of the CV issue its hard to see that he has much credibility left to anyone who pays attention and thinks. Alas few do !
I think Trump will for now continue to let Fauci play out his credibility. Better to let that happen then pump it up artificially with media PR by firing him.
