I’m not totally opposed to HCQ being non-prescription. It certainly has its risks, but a whole bottle of Tylenol will also kill you.
I’m opposed to hyping HCQ as a miracle with no downsides. If every person over 80 with pre-existing heart conditions (which there are millions of) started taking them prophylactically, it will certainly cause deaths from QT prolongation. We warn people that a whole bottle of Tylenol will kill you. You have to have the same attitude with HCQ, which you do not seem to have.
