According to Scarborough, “it makes no sense to continue to push” hydroxychloroquine when “every medical professional says it doesn’t work.”

As usual, Joe peddles the opposite of the truth. There is no evidence that Trump is personally making any money out of this, and HCQ is a low-priced drug that's been available for decades.

On the other hand, the alternatives that are being touted are often vaccines that will have a high R&D cost associated with them, and WILL make their developers a lot of money if approved.
