MSNBC Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough on Thursday suggested there was a money connection in President Donald Trumps continued push of the drug hydroxychloroquine to help treat the coronavirus.
According to Scarborough, it makes no sense to continue to push hydroxychloroquine when every medical professional says it doesnt work.

And yet, they can’t make the same connection with those who want ban HCQ in favor of more expensive treatments...
To: ChicagoConservative27
It’s cheaper? Has no evidence, but implies Trump is getting some payoff.

Guess he never asked that about Fauci’s “money connections” related to vaccines and his dissing HCQ (when Fauci used to love it).

For Scarborough, one always has to ask, “Where’s the brain connection?”
To: ChicagoConservative27
go ahead and ask. Dig deep. You’ll find that this drug has been around for decades in various forms and that its widely available as a generic in the US, which means there is little to no profit to be made off it. I guess if huge quantities are sold the profits will be better, much like gasoline is only profitable since so much is sold, but i guarantee you that the new vaccines that are going to come out will be vastly more expensive and have huge margins attached “to cover costs of R&D”
So, in other words, Scarborough is just being his normal idiotic self.

58 cents a dose, there’s no money in pushing it.
$1000+ a dose experimental antivirals is what the media is pushing. The money angle there is obvious.

or it could have to do with the body pH level. Human bio-molecular chemical reactions occur in aqueous (water) solutions changing the pH which is one of the things Hydrocholorquine does. That then alters how cell membranes grant access in an out amount so many other things.
Oh it Joe Scarbourgh never mind - Orange Man really really bad wah!

According to Scarborough, it makes no sense to continue to push hydroxychloroquine when every medical professional says it doesnt work.
Every medical professional? He must not know many medical professional. Perhaps he knows a couple, which to him means 'every medical professional' he knows.
He's making a statement which logic says is completely false.
He might be talking about the medical professionals who don't want Trump to get re-elected, therefore, they don't want Trump getting credit for the use of HCQ for treating patients with coronavirus.
There are many others who are not political hacks, who do say that HCQ does work as a treatment for coronavirus. Perhaps Scarborough needs to get out of the liberal bubble and go meet those other medical professionals who do vouch for HCQ as an effective treatment for coronavirus.
