On Tucker last hour, Dr. Marc Siegel jumped the shark!! He previously has been a supporter of HCQ but said that “the science right now is not behind hydroxychloroquine.” He was citing two new articles just published by the New England Journal of Medicine and Annals of Internal Medicine. He said now is not the right time to listen to anecdotal claims of efficacy.
Now what is not known is whether the studies used the combination of hcq+zinc+antibiotic. He has previously said the combination saved his 95+ year old father in Florida and didn’t disavow that belief tonight. However, his comments this evening lead me to believe he’s getting pressure from his colleagues and hospital management to turn down his previously enthusiastic support for the hcq combination.
What??? He was in full support of HCQ when it cured his elderly dad in Florida. Did he get a lecture from Paul Ryan?
