WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) Joe Biden was uncharacteristically tight-lipped on Tuesday about the final stretch of his search for a vice president. But the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee seemed prepared to talk about at least one leading contender: California Sen. Kamala Harris.
As he took questions from reporters on Tuesday, Biden held notes that were captured by an Associated Press photographer. Harris name was scrawled across the top, followed by five talking points.
Do not hold grudges. Campaigned with me & Jill. Talented. Great help to campaign. Great respect for her.

When did they become citizens?
“Those are probably not his notes. Theyre too coherent.”
LOL! No kidding. I don’t even think the man could negotiate a parking lot, let alone high-level talks with world leaders.
He’d have to wipe off the drool from his chin.
I really feel bad, sincerely, for Joe Biden. I don’t know who pushed him into this, but he should be in a chair in Florida, watching the sunset over the ocean, with his grandchildren running up to him and asking him for candy.
He really needs to enjoy his golden years.
So very sad.
Really, I feel bad for him.
“a natural born Martian”
You know what? At this point, I would be willing to consider voting for a Martian. After all, they were smart enough to get to Earth, right? LOL!
Gotta watch “Independence Day” again. Love me some Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum. ;)

Nate Silver does not see it the way you do, and (not to put too fine a point on it)—I trust his analysis more than yours.
;-)
BOTH parties want the natural born citizen clause neutered.
Piyush Jindal, Micro Rubio and Raphael Cruz all ran while ineligible in 2016.
The reason the GOP did not uphold the Constitution on Usurpation Day 2009 is they wanted to violate it too.
I suspect that come election day he'll struggle to blow spit bubbles.
Thanks. I agree with Nate. He is the best in the biz.
Okay, so this imbecile has to take notes.
100% sure that is NOT his handwriting.
I am in the formerly chill and sleepy but lately turbulent and violent Portland.
I hope you are right and I am wrong about the election prospects.
“100% sure that is NOT his handwriting.”
That’s a good point. It seems to me that his handwriting would be a lot shakier.
When my Dad was near death, his handwriting was nothing like the strong cursive he used during his prime. It sloped downwards, with the words kind of diminishing into nothing, shaky and was hardly legible.
Same thing with my mother; she died of cancer and couldn’t talk at the end. I have a notepad with her communications on it. She kept writing the number eight sideways (like the sign for infinity) and saying that there was a taxi waiting to take her “home.”
She also said, “Please believe me. There are angels here.”
It still sends chills down my spine.
“I hope you are right and I am wrong about the election prospects.”
All we can do, at this point, is pray. And VOTE! LOL!
And I am so sorry to hear about your beautiful city. People up here aren’t following the news in the U.S. and when I tell them what is going on, they can hardly believe it.
My sister lives in Wisconsin; she can hear the rioters from her apartment and is afraid to leave after dark.
And Chicago, where we were born, is a total mess as well.
I am just so sad about my beloved country.
Between the impeachment, Covid-19 and the riots after George Floyd’s death, the tipped over statues and firebombings and laser blinding, our President really has had quite a first term. I’m not sure that any other president has faced the challenges like he has had to do.
