Scientists are yet to find a single confirmed case of a teacher catching coronavirus from a pupil anywhere in the world, a leading epidemiologist has said.
Mark Woolhouse, an infectious disease epidemiologist at Edinburgh University, offered reassurance to staff preparing for the full reopening of schools next month.
Professor Woolhouse, a member of the UK government’s scientific advisory group, Sage, said that in hindsight closing schools in March was probably a mistake, but the limited role children play in spreading the virus only became clear further along the infection curve.

Everybody who played a part in this scam should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Teachers could get infected in reopened classrooms, but the infections seldom require hospitalization, except for at-risk teachers who can continue to stay home.
Yes, but afterward during sex could be a problem. Still no reason to keep schools closed.

If the school admins & teachers (look for the Union label) are closing schools AND keeping all of the taxpayers’ money / full salaries & benefits / budget, you know where their priorities lie (and it’s not with the kids)..

teachers dont work and get paid, can either do their side jobs, do nothing, or work for the biden campaign while still collecting taxpayer paychecks

People died as a result of their actions. Surely you can’t kill people with impunity.

From another POV, imagine, if you will, that students have seen for two months that people can riot and destroy with no fear of punishment. I’d say that a virus is the least of the teachers’ problems.

Good point there. A month ago, I would have said that President Trump is vulnerable. Now with anarchy in some of our major cities, President Trump could get reelected if he's effective with his "law and order" messaging.
