The Washington Post – ABC News poll sampled 1,000 adults. Not likely voters, not registered voters, not even eligible voters, just whoever answered the phone. They also oversampled Democrats by 6 percentage points and their sample contained 399 Trump supporters compared to 522 Biden supporters, over a 25 percent advantage for Biden.
It’s no wonder their survey found Biden favored over Trump 54 to 39 percent, reflecting the sample. Is this designed to inform or influence the electorate?
The Quinnipiac University poll of registered voters, oversampled Democrats by 10 points, 34 to 24 percent. Their poll favored Biden over Trump 52 to 37 percent, a 15-point margin, two-thirds of which is negated by the skewed poll sample.
The Fox News poll oversampled Democrats by 4 points with Biden winning by an 8-point margin. Despite the voting preference for Biden, the poll was split evenly on whether Trump would be reelected.

If the sample was equally balanced between Democrats and Republicans, Trump might have a 2-point advantage.
Still for me, too close for comfort. Trump needs to overcome one particular factor -— THE VOTER FRAUD factor which was so prominent in 2018. This, with all the potential fraud already found in the mail-in ballot scheme could be the deciding factor in 2020.

I think it’s normal to “oversample” Democrats though, correct? There are far more registered Dems than GOP.
Or...what exactly is meant by “oversampling?”
Polls are nothing more than a “mind control” method.
This time in 2016, Hillary was running away with the race.
Also, campaign season has not started yet.
The dynamic of this election is remarkably similar to the last election in the UK. The British media, most of its newspapers and the BBC mocked and ridiculed theConsrvatives mercilessly. They refused to report on Muslim violence, sex crimes and knifings. They openly hoped to reverse Brexit, advocated for open borders and never said a bad thing about Labor or its leaders.The polls they commissioned implied a Laboe win. Sound familiar/ When the votes were counted Labor had a devastating loss. They lost seats that they controlled for nearly a century.
Can only hope the American people will act as decisively.

Polls work if you have societal trust, and above all, if media is fair, open and honest.
If media is going to abuse society’s trust, and manipulate public opinion (and polls) for their own political ends, what honesty do I owe them?
Trump supporters are certain to show up at the polls. Biden supporters will show up if it’s a nice day on 11/3. I hope the black vote either stays home or votes in big numbers for Trump.
True should switch parties AFTER getting reelected. That would push them over the cliff.
Maybe the fake polls are hiding a Trump landslide victory in November, but we can’t afford to act like that is the case.
We need to work as if our candidate really is 20 points down.

If Trump was 5 points ahead, the MSM polls would show him 10 points behind. That's how it works. The MSM hates Trump and will do anything possible to show him in a bad light.
Just a thought experiment:
What if the polls showed Trump was ahead. What would we be doing differently?

In Libspeak, a 1 point D lead is a LANDSLIDE and a 20 point R lead calls for recounts and one gets accused of chicanery.
Also a precinct that has 125 thousand people in it is okay if 130 thousand people vote D.
Last week our local daytime conservative talk shows guy said Biden recently had an online town hall, rally or some such. He said 20 minutes into the online “event” Biden had not 119,000 viewers...not 19,000 viewers...not 119 viewers...he had NINTEEN people viewing online. Unless the voter fraud is astronomical it will be a drubbing....I pray.
