I detect flopsweat.
You mean there's not enough revenue coming in from all the businesses forced to shut down (and still being forced to stay shut) while EVERY municipal employee still got paid?
Say it ain't so!

it will mean painful cuts to essential public services across America. Fewer teachers and nurses, longer response times, dirtier streets Let's just call it "De-funding".

“The coronavirus is wrecking state and local budgets.” Nonsense! Rat governors are wrecking state and local budgets by their unconstitutional lockdown orders. Now you are pleading for printing press money to save your RAT infested butts. No, hell NO!

The union that represents public sector workers will stress that without more funding, its members will be laid off or furloughed and That's not a bad thing! It's a plus. Get rid of excess useless public sector workers, and trim budgets. Why are they still being paid?

Stealing from those who save for spending not actually allowed by the Constitution.
FDRs lawlessness is complete and all it took was scared people forgetting that the business of America is business, not being safe.

Good opportunity to brake the public employee’s union. There shouldn’t be a national public employee’s union in this country and there damned sure better not be a public funded bailout for it. Get rid of the AFLCIO, period! If there is to be unions, they should be in-house individual businesses unions comprised of employees of said business only.
