There needs to be an Americana channel for streaming. A channel focused on the true American experience and history. Could do miniseries about great Americans like Booker T. Washington, Annie Oakley, etc.

That show was addicting. It’s not my usual fare, but for some reason I couldn’t stop watching.

That is, until they cancelled it. Oh well.

I used to like A&E when it had Columbo, Ellery Queen, City of Angels, Delvecchio, Lou Grant, Police Story, O’Hara, U.S. Treasury, McCloud, and The Fugitive.

Great idea but I doubt OAN has the money to buy the rights and the seed money money it would take to bring it back. All the on air people are under A&E contract that is a problem too. If OAN could do it they would get huge ratings l have no doubt.

Watched most of those and have a lot on DVD.

Ellery Queen is a big favorite with me and my wife.

I loved "Live PD". Watched it regularly for some relief whenever I got sick and tired of blabbing talking heads, virus/virus/virus, riots/riots/riots, same old boring panels, same old repetitious analysis, same old earnest-talking-do-nothing politicians, same old breaking-news that's not new....I could go on, but you get the picture.

I loved seeing the bad guys getting their face shoved into the ground on Live PD....and I'm ticked that it's been yanked by the its management's kneelers.

I do remember seeing a comment from producer Dan Abrams a couple of weeks ago implying that it was more of a suspension, rather than a cancellation. (Not a direct quote).

Using the old adage, “follow the money”, it wouldn’t surprise me if the network figured out a way to bring it back. Perhaps with “enlightened” commentary.

I would have liked to have seen other titles from that era like Switch, Cannon, Kojak, The Streets of San Francisco, Barnaby Jones, and Harry O. And even throw in Vega$.

My youngest son (he's 55) is normally a low-key, laid back sort of guy... He went ballistic when this happened to his favorite TV show...

I've never watched it because I only watch sci fi stuff and reruns of the 2016 late-election-night TV shows featuring the joy & happiness on MSM after the results were in...
