Trump is behind in internal polling, which is why he demoted his campaign manager and installed a new one. Do you think Trump would have changed campaign managers if he was ahead in his own polls?

Many people here project their beliefs on others thinking how could the other guy win. I recall both Obama victories and folks here said the polls were wrong and there is no way Obama could win - well the polls were correct and he did win. The polls also showed Trump losing the national vote by 2 to 3 points to Hillary and that is what happened. The individual state polls in some key states were wrong.

So forget the polls if you want, but pay attention to where the Trump campaign puts its campaign resources.

The new campaign manager has withdrawn all resources from CO, NM and VA, conceding those three states to Biden, which was never really in doubt for Biden anyway and has put those resources in Texas - which should be a slam dunk. So that leads credence to reports last week that Trump's internal poll was leading in Texas by only 2 points and Republicans were leading the congressional generic poll by just 1 point in Texas. So, thankfully, the election is not today because I believe Trump would lose, but there is time to recover.

The first votes will be cast in 6 short weeks.

This is what the polls tell us is really happening....a voting fraud like no other...Biden who has been an elected government employee for nearly 50 years, has changed his tune to fit the times and the politics for years and has done precious little to better America BUT has enriched himself and family using his office to do so...the radical left headed by Pelosi are hoping to regain their power by making the politician Biden potus so they can run Ms. Obama as the biden V.P....effectively giving BHO the Marxist a fourth term. Obama has been totally unconstitutional about leaving office...he has actively been engaged in the silent coup of President Trump....IMHO.

Well thought out post. I am leaning in the same direction but I believe it is somewhat closer. I also think there are many things yet to come that are going to have a large impact on the voting.

Great post. We ARE behind - and behind big at this point. To deny that is living with one’s head firmly in the ground.

The one thing that can save Trump is debates. We all know Biden is likely to fall totally apart unless they have some really great drug that helps him be coherent for more than 30 seconds (hell, he can’t even manage THAT most days).

We’re in serious trouble. It’s obvious to anyone who looks objectively at things. I contend the #1 reason is our ongoing denial of the virus - case in point..even after all this time, there are still “it’s all a hoax!” posts - even though 200+ countries are battling the virus. Think for a second..are they ALL “in on” the “plot to get Trump”? That is not playing well whatsoever outside of FR, and if we do lose, that will be the biggest reason.
