At least three federal officers in Portland may not recover their vision after earlier this week demonstrators, who have shown up in crowds of over 1,000 for more than 50 consecutive nights, shined lasers in their eyes and threw fireworks at a federal courthouse, officials said.
During Monday night's confrontation, one person also threatened to cut off the water supply to federal officers inside the building.
Federal Protective Service (FPS) Deputy Director of Operations Richard “Kriss” Cline said at a press conference on Tuesday that a crowd of more than 1,000 “rioters” surrounded the Hatfield Federal Courthouse and began removing plywood coverings before attempting to throw objects – some of them incendiary – through the windows at federal officers inside.

Yesterday, I told my Democrat next-door neighbor and friend who likes to talk politics that this one isn’t going to be settled by voting.
The ones who are being grabbed in Portland are the seditious conspirators, which is why the mayor, the governor and Pelosi are excreting bricks over it.
Even if without the feds, these do-nothing mayors and governors could also be sued by all who lost property, were injured or lost family members, for damages, on that basis. And no taxpayers should cover these damages.
I disagree. Wall Portland off and let them rot. Blockade all entrances and exits.

If there's no remedy there, those same mayors and governors can be charged with federal crimes from immigration law, specifically; knowingly harboring illegal aliens....complete with some very harsh penalties.

I was reading about this on Wikipedia just this morning, wondering how many Jap POWs were captured and how many surrendered.
I've seen photos of Jap POWs that were captured, they were sailors treading water after a sinking. The only photos of *surrendering* Japs I can recall were soldiers confronted with flamethrowers.
Apparently, flames dampen zeal and fanaticism like nothing else.
