This is the problem with so many Republicans, they are really Democrats and the National GOP has not formally thrown them out.

This is something I don't understand at all. Sure, Murkowski and Collins and McCain were/are necessary to maintain majority, but idiots like Kasich? What is the possible downside to kicking him out when he pulls crap like that?

True, party registration is generally open and a basic “I declare” at the polls. And I guess he wouldn’t be part of the Pub Gov Association or anything anymore.

I really think the parties should go to a full-closed system, with primaries only available to party members. I’m not sure why the government is even involved in the primary process as is.

He use to be my congressman. I supported him all through his congressional runs and when he was governor. I feel like I need to take a 3 hour shower now.

This makes no political sense at all. He will never be embraced by the left and he has now crapped on the republicans. My best guesses as to his motivations:

- Will run as an independent or 3rd party in 2024
- Wants his own MSNBC talk show
- Or this is simply a classic example of TDS and how it eats away at the brain.
