It has been said before, but it bears repeating: You are better off watching raw footage of the White House press briefings than trusting the word of journalists.
Put more simply, members of our vaunted Fourth Estate cannot be trusted to report accurately on this administration. They are just making stuff up at this point.

Disappointed that they couldn’t impeach him on Russia the Democrats quickly switched gears to Ukraine And some phone call with the president were supposedly he was trying to “dig up dirt on Joe Biden”
They held onto the documents a month and then finally handed them over there was a sham quick trial which was laughable and then 100% of the Democrats voted for impeachment and 100% of Republicans voted against it. The liberal media of course the entire time said he should be removed
