Fox News host Martha MacCallum challenged the “whiteness assumptions” provided as part of a learning tool at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture.
MacCallum read some of the “assumptions” from the learning tool, which she said had been taken down from the museum’s website.

The Smithsonian has been under a far left influence since the Klinton dictatorship.
No, it’s true, they have said so themselves! According to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, blacks hold as their values, laziness, tardiness, misogyny, thoughtlessness, theft, violence, abandonment of children, and lack of self-reliance. Values opposite to these are exclusive traits of whites and blacks may never emulate those traits lest they betray their color.
Frickkin’ morons.
It must have been really egregious if it raised the hackles of the controlled-opposition MacCallum.
What did yoy expect from the marxist curators at a Smithsonian institution devoted to African-American history. The Smithsonian has been controlled by the Left for more than a generation. Remember the exhibit on the nuclear bombing of Japan. The in your face exhibit accused America and its leaders of overt racism and war crimes. It was particularly offensive to visiting veterans who actually fought in the Pacific. It said nothing that it ended the war and prevented millions of American and Japanese casualties that would have happened if an invasion of Japan had occurred. Congress at the time protested. The exhibit came down but the marxists remained.
She didn’t list the worst of it. It implied that “whiteness” was the provenance of self-reliance, commitment, emotional fortitude, rationality, maturity, intelligence, fidelity, civility and intelligence. In other words, these qualities are unavailable to non-whites, but that’s OK, because they’re supposed to be bad things to have. It’s profoundly racist, aiming to attack whites, but saying particularly nasty things about blacks.
More accurately, these qualities are things that committed Leftists lack. That lack makes them bad people. They’re not born that way. They can do better.
Saw the poster yesterday.
How else are the communist overlords going to create and keep a permanent underclass? They have to convince enough people that achievement is vile and that dependence on government is rejoiced.
Communists can’t take over a happy and content country. They have to create chaos and anger until the people demand change. Change is what that get. It’s just not what they think.
Any exhibit with “blackness assumptions”?
Mirroring is an effective tool for ridicule.
I’m going to print it out and send multiple copies to all my children and grand children with the note: “This is what expected from all of you“. Thank you, Smithsonian, for successful parenting!

Both are incorrect in my opinion.
Most of the other points are correct and it has nothing to do with "whiteness", they will work anywhere by anyone {if free to do so}.
Replace it with animist, superstitious feelings.
I am white, but I do not find the Smithsonian’s summary to be very offensive to me, personally. I do take exception to the characterization that white people only like bland food, “steak and potatoes”, because I prefer a spicier cuisine. (That’s also an ahistorical assertion: Columbus discovered America because he looking for spices.) And, I do think there’s more to life than my job, the accumulation of wealth, and the consumption of goods. Other than that, it seems that the list of “Aspects & Assumptions of Whiteness” corresponds pretty well to the list of personal characteristics necessary to survive and thrive in the real world.
However, if I were Black, I would be personally offended that this list purports to be characteristically “white”.
Anybody, regardless of race, who rejects many of the listed characteristics of “whiteness” and adopts their alternatives will be a failure in any society more advanced than a primitive tribe in the Amazon jungle. This is true regardless of whether the individual lives in a white-majority society North America or Europe or Australia or Antarctica, or in Asia, Africa or South America. Or, on the Moon or Mars, for that matter.
