A doctor in TX has a treatment he's been using for Covid-19 since March with 100% cure rate. Interesting statistic: Taiwan, with 21 million people has 7 Covid-19 deaths, and they are also using the same approach. The drug is Pulmicort Respules and is a 20-year old treatment for asthma. Treatment cost: around $200.
The interview is about a half hour long, but the first five minutes explains well what he's doing.

Maybe because if you plastered the TV with every Youtube doctor offering his miracle cure for whatever ails you there wouldn’t be anything else on the telly. Would be nonstop, 24/7 quackery.

There was another Texas Doctor Seeing similar result with budesonide (An inhaled steroid for asthma). I took notice if this because my son uses this medication.

Many of these docs should lose their license because they are violating state board of medicine rules not to mention their oath. And what’s funny — it’s all the young docs. Snow flakes. It is a mockery. And I, for one am tired of seeing my profession overrun by these Harlots

If I were to take on every claim somebody makes on Youtube, I’d expect to be paid for what would also be a 24/7 nonstop job - and I’d wanna make, at least, as much money as they do selling whatever they’re selling. Well, more, actually, for having to wade through so much bullshit.
True for a lot of stuff on YouTube, but TV interviews carry a little more weight with me. Also, if you bothered to watch the video, he’s not selling anything. By all means, ignore all of the information around you.
I take montelukast for allergy driven asthma and have heard that it plus zinc is pretty effective also. I have been taking zinc with it for the past couple of months. So far so good.

Not really. Plenty of pandemics will never have a cure or even a significant mitigating treatment discovered before they run their course. Quite likely the majority of them.
Here’s some links to some sites that describe how intravenous Vitamin C (and store-bought dosage), the cholesterol-lowering drug Tricor, and the use of an intranasal instead of injection of an eventual vaccine can effectively treat / prevent COVID-19. At this time I’m executing other searches to glean data pertinent to how I found that the Saharan Desert dust clouds contain gram-negative bacteria and the implications of such. Once I have retrieved the information, I’ll place a post.

He may indeed believe his claims. Though I suspect if the countries you cited thought he had come up with a miracle cure for covid, they would be hailing the guy as world savior instead of keeping it for themselves only. It would make no sense for them to keep the good news from the world.
It’s possible it could help - as other treatments do, but even a cursory search should also reveal caveats. As with any medication, there’s contraindications and bad side effects.
It should be made available and used by anyone who wants to give it a whirl (as should all treatments) - with the person signings a waiver acknowledging the risks and relieving the administering person/agency of any liability.
But the main thing is - any time someone makes a claim of a surefire cure for anything, it’s best to apply a heap of salt before swallowing.
OHHHHHHHH if everyone on the Planet got this dreaded disease only 99.997% of us would be left!
