And the day Quinnipiac comes out with a horrible poll for Trump

I live in Connecticut, home of Quinnipiac University. I've been polled by Quinnipiac many times (land-line telephone), for national and local elections. They ask VERY leading questions, where the average person (not me, lol) would feel guilty supporting any Republican candidate or conservative position.

Rasmussen polls, however, are fantastic in my experience. No live person is at the other end. You press 1 for "Candidate A", 2 for "Candidate B". Press 1 for "Yes", press 2 for "No", etc.

No guilt, no feeling weird about what candidate or position you support.

That being said, it's been over 5 or so years since I've been polled on the old-fashioned land-line telephone by Quinnipiac or Rasmussen. Not sure if that's how they still do their polls.

I have done online polls and they could be just as misleading. “Are you going to vote for Trump, who drowns puppies and kittens and eats little children with apples in their mouths or Biden, a compassionate loving kind experienced man?”

:)

People dont lie online? I did the first time. I must have lost my mind for a few minutes LOL I’m doing an online poll and this was one of the very first ones and I didn’t want to check Trump.

I’ve been a conservative since I was six LOL. And in a particular poll it wasn’t even leading. Human beings are very very fallible creatures. That’s all we need to know about polls

We are very unpredictable. If we were computers we wouldn’t laugh or cry or be terrified or overjoyed at a movie. It’s all fake. But part of the brain still kind of thinks it’s real

Polls? They are worth as much as eyewitness testimony most of the time
