This makes very little sense to me, I don't see how their effective actions against Mexican and native mayhem can be deemed racist, but then I don't know how the police can be deemed racist based on infrequent actions of individuals either. Still, in deference to our friends south of the Rio Grande I suppose we could adopt their name, Los Diablos Tejanos.

Not to cast dispersions on the Washington Post or their editorialist Karen Attiah, but I can't help but I can't help but wonder if she's confusing them with Terry's Texas Rangers, aka 8th Texas Cavalry which had former Rangers amongst their members but was a completely different unit.
