3 States Account for 42 Percent of All COVID-19 Deaths in America. Why?
Foundation for Economic Education ^ | 7/10/2020 | John Miltimore

Posted on 07/11/2020 4:51:25 PM PDT by RightGeek

Few may have noticed that 42 percent of all COVID deaths in the US come from just three states—New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts. These three states account for nearly 56,000 of the nearly 133,000 deaths in the US, even though they represent just 10 percent of the population. If these three states are excluded, the US suddenly finds itself somewhere in between nations such as Luxembourg (176/1M) and Macedonia (166/1M), where some of the better fatality numbers in Europe are found.

Why have New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts suffered so much more than other US states? We don’t yet know the answer to that question, but evidence suggests it could be policy related.

...

Secondly, there is currently a great deal of scrutiny on states such as Florida, Texas, and Arizona, which have seen case numbers increase in recent weeks, a spike that began in mid-June after states reopened their economies. The implication is that these states dropped the ball by reopening too soon.

None of these states, however, has a per capita fatality rate that even approaches New Jersey, Massachusetts, or New York.

...

Considering these numbers, one would not expect to see a governor from New Jersey, New York, or Massachusetts lecture these other states on their handling of the coronavirus. But that’s exactly what Gov. Cuomo did, claiming his state-ordered lockdown “saved lives” and chastening governors who opened their economies.

“I say to them all look at the numbers,” Cuomo said, referring to leaders in the states seeing rises in COVID-19 cases. “You played politics with this virus, and you lost. You told the people of this state, you told the people of this country, the White House, ‘Don’t worry about it. Go about your business.’”

Wow. Never saw that performance of George Carlin. Thanks.
Amazingly prescient about “a new type” of contagion that your immune system has been sheltered from by lack of practice.

Commiefornia alone accounts for 10% of the US population but we are only experiencing 176 deaths per million. Right down there with Luxembourg.

Sheltering and cowering may be the most dangerous Corona 19 advice put out by these mass murdering governors.

How low, would have been our real death rate? If these granny killing governors had gotten the virus and died in the first week? Instead of them killing the innocent grannies!

Mass murderers of nursing home patients!:

How many of those innocents killed by these governors were African Americans or Hispanics?

Did elite white democrat mayors/governors endangering Blacks and Hispanics by allowing large BLM protests?

Data shows that Blacks and Hispanics are more susceptible to getting sick from exposure to Corona 19.

NPR analyzed COVID-19 demographic data collected by the COVID Racial Tracker, a joint project of the Antiracist Research & Policy Center and the COVID Tracking Project. This analysis compares each racial or ethnic group's share of infections or deaths — where race and ethnicity is known — with their share of population. Here's what it shows:

Nationally, African-American deaths from COVID-19 are nearly two times greater than would be expected based on their share of the population. In four states, the rate is three or more times greater.

In 42 states plus Washington D.C., Hispanics/Latinos make up a greater share of confirmed cases than their share of the population. In eight states, it's more than four times greater .

White deaths from COVID-19 are lower than their share of the population in 37 states and the District of Columbia.

Higher COVID-19 Incidence in Minority Communities - AARP

https://www.aarp.org/health/conditions-treatments/info-2020/minority-communities-covid-19.html

Data shows that coronavirus hits African Americans and Latinos harder.

https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2020/05/30/865413079/what-do-coronavirus-racial-disparities-look-like-state-by-state

A heavy toll of African-American deaths:

NPR's analysis finds that in 32 states plus Washington D.C., African Americans are dying at rates higher than their proportion of the population. In 21 states, it's substantially higher, more than 50% above what would be expected.

For example, in Wisconsin, at least 141 African Americans have died, representing 27% of all deaths in a state where just 6% of the state's population is black.

In Summary: So, are the elite white liberal mayors and governors endangering their black and Hispanic populations by allowing uncontrolled BLM mobs?

Or are they eliminating their undesireables like they did with their Nursing Home Patients in March/April, this year.

Again, are these elite liberal mayors/governors doing the same thing to their BLM voters as they did to their nursing home patients in March/April?

Or, this just shows how deadly, no diabolical, this virus is. It can sense a Trump rally or wedding and infect everyone there at. But it has been mutated to have a PC gene that allows it to be “woke” so as not to infect a BLM protestor. Yes, diabolical. posted on 7/10/2020, 6:22:19 AM by FlipWilson

Ny and NJ, at least, used the opportunity of the CCP virus to reduce the costs of state paid inmates at the old folks homes by killing off a large number of them while getting federal monetary rewards for doing so. The end justifies the means.

Yes we do. It’s because these states required the most vulnerable places in the states, nursing homes, to take in contagious COVID-19 patients. The fact that the author doesn’t understand this makes the rest of this article worthless.

AKA poor science or complete lack of it!

We will never have true numbers they are fudging all the tests and death results.

Death is not the only best measure of this disease at this point in time. The long-term effects are not known, and we won’t know that for a while.

Yup,there was a big convention in Boston (Genzyme,IIRC) sometime in January that was attended by people from all over the world.I think it's believed that that convention was a key factor in the virus being so bad here.

If we were “testing” as vigorously for usual, seasonal flu infections along side the covid this summer, we’d have some Apples-to-Apples numbers to compare. Are they doing that?

No.

So - meh....

"Orange Man Bad" NYC Mayor de Blasio foolishly gave up possibility of effective early lockdown (imo) when he downplayed COVID-19 threat in response to PDJT restricting travel to China.
De Blasio, NYC Officials Downplayed COVID-19 Threat After Trump Restricted Travel to China. Here Are 5 Examples.

Send "Orange Man Bad" federal and state government desperate Democrats and RINOs home in November!

Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping SARS-CoV-2 will effectively give fast-working Trump a "third term" in office imo.

” Did you ever small...NJ...?” Well yes I live here in the rural center/Western part of the state and it smells fine.
The virus deaths all fall in the Northeatern part of NJ. I don’t know anyone who has had the virus , let alone died from it. Deaths are definitely more regional than even state boundaries.

But I’m sure that’s true in the European countries too. If you take the 4 states of NY,NJ Mass. and CT. The population is equal to some of the larger European countries, and the population density should be similar., and yet the deaths/1M is over 1,200, which is nearly double the worst of these countries.

It’s almost as if the version of the virus in those 4 states, which by the way are 44% of the US total deaths, is more virulent and lehtal.

I don’t think Cuomo or Murphy can take credit for any wiser handling of the virus. Don’t know what their “flattening the curve” is all about. But I also think they didn’t make it 2 or 3 times more lethal than the rest of the US or say Canada, either.

These numbers are meaningless. If someone dies from a paper cut, it’s counted as Covid. The hospitals get Federal bonus dollars for each reported Covid death.

Then consider...

- Medicare Fraud

- Social Security Fraud

- Food Stamp Fraud

- Voter Fraud

- Fill in the Blank Fraud

So why would anyone assume any numbers having to do with the flu are accurate?
