MUST READ: Body Cam Transcript Tells a Different Story on the Death of George Floyd
thegatewaypundit ^ | 11 July, 2020 | Jim Hoft

The transcript from the body camera worn by J. Alexander Kueng shows clear evidence that George Floyd was suffering respiratory distress before police laid hands on him. He died from a Fentanyl overdose, not from being choked out by Minneapolis police. This news will not bring joy to the crazed, leftist mob screaming to lop off the heads of the Minneapolis police officers who stand accused of “murdering” George Floyd and little attention has been paid to the transcript since its release on July 7. I hope to correct that oversight.

First a note about Officer J. Alexander Kueng. He also is a black man. He was adopted shortly after birth by a white woman and single mother. Can’t have that story out there. Simply does not promote the meme that white Americans are inherently and irredeemably racist. How can a racist white woman be a loving mother to a black child? Racists don’t do that.

knee off his throat.

Was it on his throat? Or on his neck.

A person overdosed on fentanyl would not be agitated.

We should honor St George’s legacy...that’s what our Catholic archbishop told us.

Here is a case report you have probably read.

It is about transdermal Fentanyl.

What sort of symptoms would you expect with a drug cocktail of Fentanyl and methamphetamemes?

Fentanyl is highly dangerous on its own. When fentanyl is mixed with other drugs, either intentionally or not, the possible side effects and risk for overdose increases exponentially.

The presumption is he was ODed on debts my based on the post. J merely pointed out that people often say things not rooted in the facts in order to advance a theory. It is medically incorrect. If the theory is that he was overdosed on fentanyl he would be comatose, slow and deep breathing, and unresponsive.

The larger point I am trying to make is we, as conservatives, are dealing with nothing but a losing battle on this one because the police acted wrongly. You don’t kneel on someone’s neck for 8.5. Minutes. I am sorry. That is inexcusable. We need to call this what it is — a bad cop. I am all for saying we should not change a professions based on the actions of a bad Apple but the more we shift this to the victim the more we give ammo to the left to point out we don’t care

If we use bad assumptions as the fentanyl statement it becomes indefensible.

I’m pretty sure I am in my lane when I comment about fentanyl and pharmacology. I question your understanding of what you said

Have you ever had to restrain someone who is resisting arrest and acting irrationally?

Do you have professional expertise in this area?

Because your statement is simply not correct.

The neck restraint taught by and sanctioned by the MPD is not a serious threat to life, if done properly.

You cannot tell from the video if it was done improperly, but it easily could have been done properly, as shown in the video. We simply cannot tell, from the video.

Fentanyl is a opioid agonist. As such it is a central nervous system depressant. It caused bradypnea, depressed level of consciousness and in extreme cases essentially a general anesthetic (but it is not an amnestic). It blunts sympathetic response to stimulus including pain

Methamphetamine is obviously a central nervous system stimulant. Depending on how ingested (orally like pills, smoked as in crystal met or ice or Main lined intravenously) will dictate its effect

The old joke in ICU is that the best drug addicts never see is because the balance the uppers and downers well.

If he was agitated he had more meth than opioid. I don’t know the quantitative analysis of his fox screen

Meth should not potentiate the fentanyl it should antagonize it. Marijuana or alcohol would potentials the fentanyl.

He’s dead
Someone knelt on his neck 8.5 minutes
He stopped breathing around the sixth minute
Rea Iowa Loquitur

However by your on statements ...if done properly.... This is not a hill worth dying on

And yes I have extensive expertise with the human airway and related pathology and trauma.

It is probably your phone, but I think you meant the latin phrase:

Res Ipsa Loquitur

Which, of course, does not apply.

With all the other potential reasons for Floyd George to have stopped breathing, Res Ipsa Loquitur is not applicable. It is false logic.

Correlation is not causation. (though it can be indicative!)

It is my phone many apologies
Res Ipsa seems to apply. Someone knelt on someone’s beach for 8.5 minutes. They are dead

It’s a dangerous maneuver. It should have been terminated when he became comatose or stopped struggling.

I just don’t see a tangible what if argument here that is successful. It’s sort of like air traffic control. They can turn you in front of a 747 and you can accept the vector. And when you get mowed down you maybe right but you are “dead right”

I fear this is a dead right trap argument. Although in my professional opinion the neck trauma likely contributed to his death.

Lets try some others:

Someone dosed on a dangerous cocktail of drugs. They are dead.

Someone struggled intensely, with long term heart problems. They are dead.

All three were combined. They are dead.

He was adopted shortly after birth by a white woman and single mother.

That is incorrect.

The mother was interviewed. She is his biological mother. His absent father was Nigerian. She (his single mom) raised him, and later she adopted four other children. Source

But he had a history of all the other three things without croaking. Why this incident. Is it possible the kneeling on the neck kicked him over the cliff?

Look I am not disagreeing with you. I just think the battle here is not one that can be won. It was a pretty awful video and he was not moving for the last several minutes. It is inexplicable and indefensible to continue to execute a dangerous maneuver once the subject is subdued.

The arguments you are making no matter how correct is tantamount to trying to separate the fly sh*t from the pepper. A more elegant way may be a distinction without difference.

In your judgment did the police act correctly? There is not a whole lotta people (who will also make up the jury) who look at thst and say it is OK. While I may agree with your analysis it is a complete losing proposition for conservatives to defend. It makes us an easy target. And I think the police acted in error. Whether malicious or accidental, it still looks like crap.

That is what it comes down to: The optics.

We are here, because the other side controls most of the Media.

We need to fight them on the narrative, where we can, and here, they needed to be fought on the grounds of proper procedure, the rule of law, and the proper use of the justice system.

That can win.

The other side wins when we give in to the electronic lynching. Even if the police acted improperly (unclear), and we agree with the mob, we lose because they destroy the rule of law and proper procedure.

They took the optics, as a great opportunity to attack the rule of law and the entire system.

We needed to take the opportunity to call for calm, the rule of law, and proper administration of justice.

With rational thought, we win. With emotional reaction, they win.
