I bet they would not have to look hard to cancel ones like Danny Kaye and other liberal Democrats of the time concerning remarks they made about blacks or gays and some of it would make Wayne’s 1971 remarks look very benign and tame by comparison.
They’re even coming for the Duke. Why? Because he was a proud American.
I love Danny Kaye! There’s a busy Facebook and Instagram page about his history. I don’t care about his work for UNICEF, admire his strong work for the troops In Korea, etc., and his visiting troops for Israel during their 1967 war.
But I’m not a leftist who would cancel someone they don’t agree with 100%.
Interesting since Kaye was floridly gay (he also liked dames).
